Welcome to Mess of Pottage! I’m your host, Luke Jones. Technically, that should be “the Reverend Luke Jones,” because I’m an ordained teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). (Teaching elder is the new title. We used to be called “ministers of Word and Sacrament.”)

I’ve the pastor of Jewel Lake Parish in Anchorage, Alaska. Prior to that, I served as pastor of Desert Hills Presbyterian Church in Yucca Valley, California, not far from Joshua Tree National Park.
